Artwork for the antiracism exhibitions organised by Network Antiracism Weimar

Exhibited 20 March 2021

The first artwork expresses the group dynamics that formed when international and local students sat together in the cafeteria to mingle.

Many internationals from different backgrounds immediately connected and formed friendships, while the locals stayed in their familiar cultural circles.

The exhibition took place on 20 March 2021 at Mon Ami, Goetheplatz, Weimar.

Shortly after the first exhibition was vandalised, BIPOC students and the Network Antiracism began a reaction campaign and exhibition, with an open call for even more artists to express any exclusion and racism they had felt.

My second submission shows my student dormitory, housed exclusively by students of different nationalities and ethnicities, and how local tourists treated an ordinary residential building.
